Will Congress give Nyay to 1984 anti-Sikh riot victims, asks PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeted the Congress on its big poll promise of the NYAY scheme and referred to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

In a DD News interview, PM Modi said, “Will Congress give nyay (justice) to the 1984 anti-Sikh riot victims?”

PM Modi said that when Congress talks about their NYAY scheme, they are agreeing that they did anyay (injustice) to the people of the country in the decades they ruled.

“When Congress talks about NYAY, the party has knowingly, unknowingly accepted that they have done grave injustice to the country since Independence. This is going to cost them,” said PM Modi.

PM Modi also said that the party has been trying to erase their “pita ke paap”. Modi was referring to Rahul Gandhi’s father Rajiv Gandhi and said that Rahul Gandhi is trying to erase the tainted history of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Narendra Modi also said that Congress has misused the Constitution on so many occasions, what about that injustice.

“They are all big names, their father, grandmother and great grandfather. They are dynasts and they will abuse people like me, who are small people, a chaiwala,” said PM Modi.

PM Modi also said all that the Congress is interested in is abusing him but he has been successful in ignoring the abuses to keep his calm and served the country.
